Samvardhana Motherson announces 50:50 JV between Frigel and Matsui Technologies India Limited to form “Frigel India”

• Strategic Partnership enhances Frigel’s ability to meet growing demand in India’s manufacturing sector for Intelligent Process Cooling Technologies

 Samvardhana Motherson Group today (SMG) announced a 50:50 Joint Venture between Frigel and Matsui Technologies India Limited (MTIL) to meet increasing demand for cooling solutions for various industries in India. Matsui Technologies India Limited is a joint venture company of Matsui Japan and Samvardhana Motherson Group.

The Joint Venture is named Frigel Intelligent Cooling Systems India Private Ltd., and will enable both JV partners to significantly enhance the quality of their current offerings.

The Joint Venture also assumes greater significance as it reiterates the strength of Motherson’s approach to parrtnerships. The JV between SMG with MTIL is being further strengthened with the possibility of further step down partnerships being forged with the existing partner, MTIL.

 According to Hironobu Matsui, President & CEO-Matsui Manufacturing Co Ltd, the Joint Venture provides MTIL with increased opportunities to offer complete solutions of material handling and cooling to processors throughout India. On the successful partnership with the Motherson Group, Mr. Hironobu Matsui President & CEO-Matsui Manufacturing Co Ltd said, “MTIL, our Indian JV with SMG, have continuously recorded a brilliant growth since its establishment in 2006, through  strong support by SMG. The 50-50 partnership calls for Frigel to manufacture its line of Ecodry 3DK line of fluid coolers and Microgel RCS water-cooled chillers/TCUs in India. Operations will take place at a facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Frigel India will also supply other Frigel advanced and eco-friendly technologies to the Indian marketplace, including Heavygel centralized high capacity and high efficiency water chillers units and the Syncronized cooling system for Beverage production.
